Downtown Anaheim

Downtown Anaheim

Some of the world’s most desirable neighborhoods balance the serenity of a secluded community with the exciting bustle of big city living. Anaheim now brings this concept, and a whole new way of living, to life with a vibrant new downtown urban village. Set in the heart of the richly historical Colony District, it features everything from cafes and restaurants, to fabulous nightlife, galleries, and culture. Plus you’ll find all the conveniences that make a neighborhood home, such as quaint parks and churches, schools, the library, and neighborhood shopping and dining.

Downtown Today
Today, Downtown Anaheim is a modern-day walk through time. With vibrant new shopping, dining, services, homes, and culture around every corner, this revitalized scene is all set to the area’s beautifully preserved historic backdrop, including more than 1,100 notable structures that infuse timeless charm and splendor into this unique experience. What was once the prestigious Carnegie Library in 1908 is now a renowned museum. The Anaheim Orange and Lemon Association’s 1919 packing house will soon house restaurants, retail, and other local businesses. A brew pub is resurrecting recipes from the original 1878 Anaheim Brewery and bringing to life a historic 1926 auto dealership building. And local developers are preserving numerous structures and namesakes throughout Downtown with unique lofts, flats, and townhome projects.
